KBC Match'it was succesfully launched on 6 October. The platform was developed together with Kunstmaan in less than 7 months.
Less than a month after the launch, over 100 investors were active on the platform.
In February 2017, the first deal was closed. This was also the fastest closed deal so far; negotiations were succesfully concluded by the owners of Gemini Bracelets, in less than two months!
Only 1 year from the start, 6 companies found a perfect match.
In 2018, the KBC Match'it team - in collaboration with Nexxworks and Stella P. - started organising regional events with the theme "Is your company ready for the future? #FutureProof".
In March 2018, over 500 investors were actively looking for a company to take over.
As of April, Match'it expanded its offer to its buyers and sellers in order to find their perfect match abroad. In first instance, the platform is being offered in Slovakia, in cooperation with CSOB Slovakia.
Gwen De Rudder
Gwen De Rudder joined the KBC Match'it team in July 2018, after having worked 7 years within KBC Bank's credit risk department. The acquired insights in financial analysis and acquisition financing allow Gwen to offer potential sellers and buyers the necessary support. Next to the commercial contacts, Gwen is also responsible for the marketing and overall maintenance of the platform.
In 2010, Gwen graduated in Economics from the University of Ghent, after which she obtained a Master in Banking & Finance.

Filip Van Kerckhoven
Filip joined the KBC Match'it team in May 2016, shortly before the successful launch of the platform. He can boast years of experience in Corporate Banking and is happy to put his knowledge and expertise at the disposal of the users of KBC Match'it. Together with Gwen and Quentin he takes care of the commercial contacts within the framework of KBC Match'it
Filip is a graduate of the University of Leuven (KUL) and University of Antwerp (UFSIA/UA) holding master degrees in Economics and Financial Management, as well as an Executive MBA (Flanders Business School).

Quentin joined the KBC Match'it team in October 2018. He has a vast experience of more then 20 years as relationship manager with KBC and KBC Bank. He is happy to put his knowledge and expertise at the disposal of the users of KBC Match'it. Together with Gwen and Filip they manage KBC Match'It. Quentin takes care of the commercial contacts.
Quentin is a bachelor Marketing and obtained in 2018 his certificate as advisor family owned companies with Ehsal Management School Brussel.

Stefan joined KBC Securities in 2005 and became in charge of Corporate Finance and KBC Match'it in 2016. He has broad experience in sell-side and buy-side M&A advisory assignments as well as in private fundraising and equity capital market transactions. Selected recent transactions include the secondary public offering of VGP and the sale of t-groep to Gilde Buy-Out Partners.
He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics and a Degree of Commercial Engineer from the University of Antwerp.
